I have always had a passion for painting, wildlife and travelling. My childhood was spent exploring the bush around my home, pretending I was in Africa or other wild places, sketching and drawing.
My painting has taken me throughout Queensland all the way to Cape York to photograph and paint the red goshawk, and to the spectacular rainforest of the Lamington Plateau where the Antarctic Beech Trees loom out of the mist. I have travelled and lived in Canada. I loved exploring the west coast of British Columbia, from the beautiful Vancouver Island, and experienced a Canadian winter in a small northern town in the Rocky mountains.
I am a member of the Queensland Wildlife Artist’s Society, and I exhibit my work regularly, painting in traditional oils on high quality stretched canvas or board.
